Louth - An attractive Georgian market town known as the capital of the Wolds, which was the birthplace of Alfred Lord Tennyson, who's famous poems were inspired by the Lincolnshire Wolds. The lovely church of St James boasts the tallest church spire in the country, has visitor centre and tours of the church with trips up the tower. There are outdoor markets three times a week, a 4 screen cinema, Playgoers Theatre, plentiful pubs, restaurants cafe's and tea shops. There's a wide variety of shops selling local produce.

Hubbards Hills
, Louth - a local beauty spot on the outskirts of town, a natural valley with the River Lud flowing through. Very popular for locals and visitors, either for a walk along the river or a picnic.

Rushmoor Country Park, Louth - micro pigs, donkey rides, birds of prey and lovely tea room serving local produce are amongst the many things to do.

Cleethorpes, with its award winning miniature railway, parks, promenade and Pleasure Island theme park.

Skegness is a very popular seaside town with the renowned Embassy Theatre, featuring many famous acts throughout the year. Batemans Brewery and visitor centre is near Skegness, in Wainfleet.

Sutton on Sea - A lovely small seaside resort with beautiful beaches

Donna Nook in North Somercoates - where grey seals come to give birth every year, visitors came from all around the country (usually Nov - Dec) to see the seals in their natural habitat

Manby Motorplex, Louth - activities ranging from Mini Days to driving challenges and Land Rover events.

Cadwell Park racing circuit, just outside Louth, holds many events from go-karting to British Superbikes.

Lincoln is only 25 miles away and has the magnificent Lincoln Castle and the Cathedral - where the Da Vinci Code was filmed. There is a wonderful Christmas market in December and muc, much more.

Helmswell Antiques Centres,
Caenby Corner is the largest antiques centre in Europe, housed on the old Helmswell RAF base. There's so much to see and traditional tea rooms to enjoy home made food. www.helmswell-antiques.com

Horncastle - renowned for its many antique shops, market and tea rooms is really worth visiting.

RAF Conningsby - home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire, Typhoon, Harrier and Tornado.
